About me
Hello! I'm Coral.
I have three children of my own and I am a little bit obsessed with creating beautiful handmade room decorations for all children far and wide. I aim to passionately produce things they'll love but just as importantly, things you'll love putting in their rooms!
I work to produce the finest craftsmanship bringing my original handmade designs to life, they are hand sewn and made to last.
My story begins in 2014 and continues to grow and grow.
Each garland, magnet or decoration is made to my original design and concept that I've spent many hours creating, based on current trends in children's interior design.
My family business is based in Harrogate, Yorkshire, England, and was started whilst I was on maternity leave from my career in the luxury retail sector back in 2013/14.
At the time, there was nothing like my style in the marketplace and word soon spread through Instagram. I began an Etsy shop and produced a range of handcrafted felt garlands and cloud wall hangings which I made in between nursing baby and thanks to the power of social media has gone from strength to strength, now with over 132 000 followers on Instagram and now, much older children!! (@velveteen_babies)
I'm always striving to keep producing new ideas and to stay true to myself and the brand I've worked so passionately to produce.
I regularly undertake styling and promotional projects with other children's design brands and collaborate with them in my instagram content and create lifestyle photography independently too.
